10-year PPA signed for 300 MW Talasol solar project in Talaván

Ellomay Capital Ltd has signed a 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with an undisclosed international energy company for the Talasol solar park in Talavan, Spain. Talasol Solar SL executed a financial power swap in respect of approximately 80% of the output of the photovoltaic plant.

Financed by Deutsche Bank and the European Investment Bank (EIB), financial closing is expected by the end of 2018 and the start of commercial operations in the first half of 2020. The plant is calculated to generate revenues of between EUR 20 million (USD23.40 m) and EUR 25 million (USD29.25 m) a year.
