Zencap AM reaches first closing for Zencap Infra Debt 2

French boutique Zencap Asset Management, a branch of OFI Asset Management specialised in private debt, has launched Zencap Infra Debt 2.

During its first closing, the investment vehicle has attracted €236 million (US$265 million) of commitment from a total of four institutional investors in the insurance sector.

That new fund, which will succeed the OFI Crédit ETI strategy launched in May 2015, will invest through Natixis’ infrastructure platform. The fund complies with the requirements of French Fonds de Prêts à l’Économie.

The investment vehicle aims to provide institutional investors with portfolio diversification and commitment to sustainable development through investment in various sectors including:

  • utilities
  • renewable energy
