Croatian Ivicom Consulting, part of Austria's Ivicom, has been awarded with the project of a 40 MW wind park in the Una-Sana Canton in Bosnia.
The Una-Sana Canton is the first of the ten cantons of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina entity within Bosnia and Herzegovina
According to sources, the total investment for the project reaches US$28.9 million, said the canton's economy minister Vid Santic.
In January, the government of the Una-Sana Canton issued a public call to grant a 30 year concession for the project.
The preferred bidder will be responsible for the design, build, operate and maintain the new facilities under a 30 year concession. The project wil comprise a total of 6 turbines with 5 MW capacity each and will be developed in an area of 1,049.6 ha.
