Unitech to take over floating wind demonstration project in Norway
UNITECH Offshore has announced that it has entered into an agreement with Equinor to take over the Hywind Demo floating wind turbine located off the coast of Karmøy, located in Rogaland county, south-west Norway.

Statoil becomes Equinor
On 15 May 2018, the annual general meeting (AGM) of shareholders in Statoil ASA approved the board of directors’ proposal to change the company name to Equinor ASA. From 16 May 2018 (inclusive), the company’s shares have been trading on Oslo Børs under the new ticker “EQNR”.
