Tender issued for distribution system installation project in Ethiopia
Ethiopian Electric Utility has invited bids for the design, finalization, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a medium voltage distribution system in seven towns.
The project is segmented into two sections, outlined as follows:
- Lot 1: Covering Bishoftu, Sululta, and Debrebirhan; and
- Lot 2: Encompassing Asela, Dilla, Hosaena, and Jigjiga.
The Ethiopian government has secured funding from the World Bank to support the Access to Distributed Electricity and Lighting in Ethiopia (ADELE) initiative.
