Tender for biogas facility launched in Italy

The Comune di Albanella (Salerno, Italy) has issued a tender process to develop a biogas facility.

The project involves the design, build, finance, operation and maintenance of the facility. The new plant would produce electricity and heat from buffalo manure by anaerobic digestion.

The project aims to solve the problem of disposing of waste organic herds of buffaloes in the Municipality of Montagu.

The plant must be operational 2 years after the contract is signed.

Interested parties must submit their request to participate on or before 7 July 2014.
