The Private Power and Infrastructure Board (PPIB) has re-tendered a 600 MW solar project located in the districts of Kot Addu and Muzaffargargh, Punjab, Pakistan.
The solar projects will be developed on a build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) basis for a concession term of 25 years. Bidders will be required to submit a bid/proposal in accordance with the RFP approved by National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) vide the order dated September 06, 2023. Only the bidders who have registered and purchased RFP from PPIB shall be entitled to submit a bid/proposal for the project. The deadline for the tender was extended once before, originally set to April 17, 2023. However, it was later extended to May 8.
