Suncor has announced the appointment of Michael Creel to the company's board of directors. Mr. Creel's appointment is effective January 1, 2017.
From 2010 to 2015, Michael Creel was chief executive officer and director of the general partner of Enterprise Products Partners L.P., one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services. Mr. Creel served in positions with increasing responsibility within the company since 1999.
Prior to that, he was group vice chairman at Epco Inc., and executive vice president and chief operating officer at DEP Holdings LLC, a company engaged in natural gas liquids transportation, fractionation, marketing and storage, and petrochemical product transportation, gathering and marketing. He was also president and chief executive officer at EPE Holdings LLC.
