Sterlite Power buys out its transmission business

Sterlite Power has acquired a 28.4% stake in its transmission infrastructure business from Standard Chartered Private Equity (SCPE) for INR10.1 billion (US$157 million). With this acquisition, Sterlite Power holds 100% stake in the business.
