SkyPower signs PPAs to deliver 200 MW of solar energy projects to the Indian state of Telangana

SkyPower has four Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) with the Indian state of Telangana to build and operate a total of 200 MW AC of solar energy projects.

The agreements with Telangana mark the continuation of SkyPower's growth strategy in India, one of the fastest growing solar markets in the world. Over the past several months, SkyPower has secured 400 MW AC of solar PV projects in the states of Madhya Pradesh and Telangana and a strong foundation for SkyPower to grow its presence across India.

Kerry Adler, SkyPower's President and Chief Executive Officer, stated:

"India is a world leader in deploying solar, not only with its significant targets but through its very actions. SkyPower is committed to making a powerful contribution toIndia's goal of generating 100 GW of solar power by 2022, while the people of Telangana will benefit from clean, reliable and affordable energy as a result of the vision and leadership of this great state."
