Rockland Power Partners III, Rockland Capital's third power-focused fund, has raised more than US$237 million by means of the commitments from 30 LPs.
This amount of cash is more than half of the fund's target of US$450 million. Rockland's hard target is US$500 million.
Rockland Capital, founded in 2013, has its business focus on the acquisition and optimization of power companies in North America.
As of December 2013, the Rockland Power Partners III predecessor, Rockland Power Partners II, reached its final close for a total amount of US$425 million provided by 34 different institutional investors.
The firm aslo manages Rockkland Power Partners, which continues to manage the B.L England Generain Station, and has a size of US$ 333 million.
