RES Group proposes wind farm in Scotland

UK-based Renewable Energy Systems Ltd (RES Group) is proposing to build a wind farm of up to 13 turbines, with an installed capacity of more than 20 MW but less than 50 MW, on Highlee Hill in the Scottish Borders.

RES Group filed the pre-planning application with the Scottish Borders Council last week. The final capacity will depend on the choice of turbine model, either 2.4 MW or 3.4 MW.

The company has already 8 wind parks in Scotland with a total capacity of around 178 MW.
