Refinancing announced for Italian wind farm

ING Bank and MPS Capital Services Banca have recently signed the 11-year €66 million refinancing of the Orta Nova wind farm in Italy.

The wind park has a total capacity of approximately 54.6 MW.

The Orta Nova wind farm is controlled by Inergia, a company of real estate goup Gruppo Santarelli based in Ascoli Piceno, Italy.

The facility, located in the Apulia region, comprises 21 Vestas V100-2.6MW turbines and was commissioned in December 2012. It is the largest wind farm owned by Inergia, which has 150MW of installed wind and solar capacity.

BonelliErede was the legal advisor to the banks on the refinancing.
