Proinversion tenders transmission concessions

ProInversión, through its Committee on hydrocarbons and Energy Projects Pro Connectivity announces the call for its tender of Comprehensive Projects for awarding concession of the Guaranteed Transmission System (GTS)’s projects 500 kV Mantaro-Nueva Yanango-Carapongo Connection and Associated Sub-stations, 500 kV Nueva Yanango – Nueva Huánuco,  220 kV Tintaya-Azángaro  Connection and Associated Sub-stations.

The 500 kV Mantaro-Nueva Yanango-Carapongo Connection and Associated Substations project will allow the reinforcement of the transmission system in the central zone of the country, as well as the evacuation of surplus generation from the Mantaro zone towards Lima, foreseen in the new generation projects that will start operations in that area.

The 500 kV New Yanango-Nueva Huanuco Connection and Associated Substations project will allow greater reliability in the power supply to the Huánuco region, as well as the Paragsha (Cerro de Pasco) and Huaricashas and Vizcarra (Ancash) substations.

The 220 kV Tintaya-Azángaro Connection  Associated Substations project will strengthen high-voltage transport in southern Peruvian regions.

The term of the concessions will be 30 years.

This projects are part of the Peru's government Transmission Plan 2015-2024.
