OFI InfraVia makes three appointments

OFI InfraVia, the French investment manager dedicated to the infrastructure sector, has announced three appointments to strengthen its team.

OFI InfraVia manages the funds InfraVia and InfraVia European Fund II, which are both positioned as long term investors across the infrastructure and energy sectors in Europe.

Backed by two major French mutual insurance companies, Macif and Matmut, the OFI Group has €60.3 billion of assets under management at the end of March 2014.

Audrey Bouctot, Asset Manager

Audrey brings 10 years of industrial experience in energy and infrastructure. Audrey brings comprehensive skills in energy and infrastructure acquired through a broad experience (?nancial controller, project manager, portfolio manager, etc.) with European industry leaders (Schneider Electric, Faurecia, Areva T&D / Alstom grid and EDF).

Audrey joined OFI InfraVia in April 2014. She is a graduate engineer from Ecole des Mines de Nancy. She also holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Management from HEC.

Athanasios Zoulovits, Investment Director

Athanasios brings comprehensive skills in infrastructure and energy investment, acquired through 8 years of experience in principal investing and investment banking across EMEA.

Athanasios began his career in 2005 with Société Générale CIB. He joined the international graduate program, performing several rotations across the Investment Banking division in London and Paris including Mergers & Acquisitions, Acquisition Finance and Debt Capital Markets.

From 2007 to 2012 Athanasios served as associate and then vice-president in the Principal Investments team of Société Générale CIB in London focusing on Infrastructure and Real Asset equity investments with an EMEA remit.

He completed transactions and asset sales in energy, transportation and social infrastructure with a combines Enterprise Value in excess of €5 billion.

In 2013 he moved on with other members Société Générale’s Principal Investments team to join Access Capital Partners in London to develop direct investment capabilities in Infrastructure. Athanasios joined OFI InfraVia in December 2013. He graduated from Athens University of Business and Economics. He also holds an MSc (Dist.) in Management from Cass Business School (London, UK).

Romain Le Mèlinaidre, Investment Manager

Romain brings more than 6 years of Investment Banking experience dedicated to Mergers & Acquisitions with a speci?c expertise in the energy infrastructure space. Romain started his career in London in 2007 as part of ABN AMRO Graduate Development Program.

He subsequently worked within RBS’s Power & Utilities and Infrastructure teams, where he started to develop a strong understanding of the energy infrastructure sector and dynamics. In 2010, he worked on the acquisition of EDF UK’s power distribution networks

From 2010 until 2013, Romain joined Société Générale Corporate Finance teams with a focus on M&A infrastructure transactions. Based in Paris, he was involved in multiple financial advisory assignments for a broad range of clients in Europe including the disposal of G6 Rete Gas by GDF Suez (2011), advising the French State (APE) regarding the potential disposal of its stake in several French regional airports (2012) , the attempted acquisition of the second gas transmission operator in France (TIGF) (2012), the disposal of a power distribution network in Eastern Europe by EDF (2013) or the acquisition of a minority stake in Aéroports de Paris (AdP) by Vinci (2013).

Romain joined OFI Infravia in October 2013.He graduated from Lyon Graduate School of Business (France) and also holds a degree from Thunderbird, Graduate School of International Management (US).
