MoU signed for 10 GW Green Hydrogen project in Djibouti

CWP Global and the Government of Djibouti have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop a 10 GW renewable and green hydrogen project in Djibouti.

The Power to X project could position the country as a major exporter of green ammonia in the region, given its strategic location in the Horn of Africa and its great sea transit connections to neighboring markets.

The project will take advantage of Djibouti's wind and solar resources, land availability, and convenient access to the ocean. Access roads, cable networks, pipelines, port loading facilities, and potable water supply infrastructure will be constructed.
