Ingeteam opens new offices in Mexico

Ingeteam, a Spanish company that provides operation and maintenance services to renewable energy plants in Latin America, has inaugurated its new offices in Mexico.

Located in the state of Oaxaca, a strategic area and a benchmark for the country's wind power sector, the new facilities will house the company's central offices.

The inauguration is an example of the strengthening and positioning of the company in Mexico. The country has become a strategic place within Ingeteam's internationalisation process.

Ingeteam has been operating in Mexico since 1998. The firm provides O&M services to 500 wind turbines. The company has 1.2 GW of wind power under management in the country, and 6 GW throughout the world. Ingeteam also manages more than 40% of the Mexico's solar power capacity (46 MW).

Ingeteam is focused in the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, frequency converters, electrical engineering and generation plants. The company primarily serves four key sectors: energy; industry; marine, and rail traction.
