India's Jharkhand launches 1,200 MW tender

Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (JREDA) has launched a tender process to set up 1200 MW of grid connected photovoltaic solar projects in the State of Jharkhand, India.

Bids are invited for the aggregated procurement of 1200 MW power for a period of 25 years from the scheduled commercial operation date in accordance with the terms of the power purchase agreement (PPA).

The total capacity to be offered is divided into two categories, one for projects up to 25 MW and another for projects above 26 MW.

Interested parties must submit their proposals from 19.12.2015 at 11:00 AM till 11.01.2016 up to 05:00 PM.

Bidders are required to submit their scanned bids online only in electronic format with digitial signature. Prospective bidders interested to participate in the bidding process can download the RFP document from the following link:
