Grenergy closes financing for two solar PV projects in Chile

Spain-based Grenergy Renovables SA has achieved the financial closure for two photo-voltaic (PV) solar facilities, La Esperanza and Marchigue PV plants, located in the Marchigue municipality of O'Higgins region, Chile. 

The financing amount has reached US$19.2, with local financial institutions Security bank and Banco Consorcio acting as funding providers.

The projects consist of two photovoltaic solar plants with 9MW each of capacity, which are currently under construction. Once finished, the two solar facilities will be connected to the Central Interconnected System (SIC), Chile’s distribution network.

GR Araucanía SpA and GR Canelo SpA, both subsidiaries of Grenergy Renovables, are respectively in charge of the projects development.
