FRI-EL Green Power to acquire stake in ALERION Clean Power

FRI-EL Green Power has submitted a bid for a 29.9% stake of Alerion Clean Power, a company listed on the Italian Stock Exchange and specialized in the production of electricity from renewable sources, particularly in the wind sector.

Alerion has a portfolio of 11 fully built and operating wind plants with 307 MW of gross installed capacity directly managed.

FRI-EL Green Power, through its subsidiary FGPA Srl, decided to purchase 13,030,123 ordinary shares of Alerion.

According to sources, for each common share tendered the seller will pay to shareholders a cash consideration of €1.90 (US$2.12). The total amount of the acquisition will therefore reach about €24.8 million (US$27.7 million).
