Equinor signs MOU to develop commercial floating wind in South Korea

Equinor ASA has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Korea National Oil Corporation (KNOC) to explore opportunities to develop commercial floating offshore wind in South Korea.

    Daelim Energy closes financing for biomass plant

    Daelim Energy, part of Daelim Industrial, will build a biomass power plant based on wood waste. The project will be located within Poseung Industrial Complex in Pyeongtaek, south Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It has been possible to reach the financial close for the project thanks to the participation of a six-bank consortium which will lend a total amount of KRW170 billion (US$146 million).
