ENERCON has announced that it continues to realize its plans for further large-scale wind energy projects in Sweden. In the course of Markbygden Phase II in the municipality of Pitea, in the Northern Swedish province of Norrbotten altogether 201 wind turbines of ENERCON’s new E-138 EP3 series with a total installed capacity of 844.2 MW will be connected to the grid.

Marine energy developer Minesto has concluded its warrants program of series TO 2. In total, 98% of outstanding warrants were exercised, which means that Minesto will add approximately SEK44.4 million (US$4.92 million) in proceeds before issue costs to the commercialisation activities of the company’s unique subsea kite technology.
