CHORUS Clean Energy AG based in Neubiberg near Munich, a company specializing in the operation of solar and wind parks, has acquired Prime Renewables GmbH (PRG) from Prime Capital AG, based in Frankfurt am Main and is therefore considerably expanding its managed portfolio by over 86 megawatts (MW) to a total of more than 485 MW.
The portfolio of PRG consists of renewable energy power plants distributed across five European countries. It includes eight wind parks located across Germany, France, Sweden and the UK with a total capacity of 69.5 MW as well as a 5 MW solar park in Italy and a solar roof portfolio in Southern France with a capacity of 12.1 MW.
PRG is financed in large part by funding from institutional investors. CHORUS is assuming management of the PRG portfolio. The companies have agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.
