American utility launches RFP for 1.2 GW wind power

Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO), a subsidiary of American Electric Power (AEP) has launched a Request for Proposals (RFP) for up to 1,200 MW of wind energy resources to be in commercial operation by 15 December 2021.
