Actis has announced the appointment of Glen Matsumoto as a partner in the firm.

Previously Glen held senior leadership positions at EQT, Macquarie, GE and ABB Structured Finance.

He will be focused on exploring growth options for the firm’s real assets business. He will initially be based in New York and report to Actis’ executive committee.

Commenting on the appointment, Torbjorn Caesar, Senior Partner at Actis, said:

“Glen and I first worked together at ABB where he built and ran the successful structured finance business. I am delighted to be reunited with him again at Actis. He brings with him an excellent track record of adding value to businesses founded on strong relationships. His decision to join Actis is a great endorsement of the strength of our existing platform and the conviction we all share in the future of our business.”
