Smartecon is an Estonia-based renewable energy engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company specialising in the development and construction of solar power plants and energy infrastructure projects. Founded in 2012, the company provides end-to-end services, including project planning, feasibility studies, engineering and design, permitting, grid connection, installation, commissioning, monitoring and maintenance. With experience in designing and constructing more than 1,000 solar power plants across five countries, Smartecon serves businesses and renewable energy developers across the Baltic region and other European markets. The company also provides technical solutions to optimise solar power generation and improve operational efficiency. In July 2026, Smartecon became part of Verston Group, an Estonian infrastructure construction and maintenance group, strengthening its capacity to undertake larger energy infrastructure projects and expand into new markets. With its engineering expertise and integrated project delivery capabilities, Smartecon contributes to developing renewable energy infrastructure and the transition to a more sustainable energy system.
