Hitachi Zosen Inova (HZI) is a global green technology (greentech) company specializing in Waste to Energy (WtE) and Renewable Gas. Originally established in 1933 as "L. von Roll Aktiengesellschaft" and later known as Von Roll Inova, the company's roots are in Switzerland. In 2010, Hitachi Zosen Corporation, one of Japan's largest industrial and engineering firms and a longstanding partner and licensee of Von Roll Inova, acquired the company.
