Enclave Power Co.

Company description

Enclave Power Company (EPC), a subsidiary of LMI Holdings in Ghana, is the country’s only privately-owned electricity distribution company operating within the Tema Free Zones Enclave and Dawa Industrial Zone. EPC distributes around 45 MW of power purchased from the Volta River Authority to more than 80 domestic and multinational industrial customers in these zones, served by Ghana’s largest privately-owned sub-station (130 MVA) in Tema. EPC’s mission is to act as a catalyst for industrial growth in Ghana, striving to be a world-class Ghanaian industrial utility business, fostering foreign investment and delivering a reliable power service with up to 99 % uptime.

Through its modern infrastructure, dedicated staff and strong technical capacity—including bulk supply points in Tema (165 MVA) and Dawa (132 MVA) interconnected via the regional grid—EPC underpins the power supply for major processors (such as agro-processors and steel mills) and supports Ghana’s drive toward industrialisation and export-oriented development.
