EcoenergĂa

Company description

Ecoenergía is a renewable energy company active in Costa Rica that owns and operates wind energy assets. One of its known holdings is a 35% stake in the 49.5 MW Chiripa wind farm, located in Guanacaste, which it recently acquired outright by purchasing the remaining 65% share from ACCIONA Energía. The wind farm runs under a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) concession, ensuring long-term generation and revenue. By moving to full ownership of the Chiripa asset, Ecoenergía strengthens its operational profile and cash flow base, gaining full control over operations and potential future expansions.
